…or, rather, spilling a few on the page. Like, what am I doing, what am I trying to do? Trying because it’s an active process, doing because it has to be done. It’s like life – make the most of it, because the less you make of it the less you become. I don’t want to become less.

Spot that? That was a why , not a what . Typical. Trying to gather my thoughts is like trying to drive a herd of wild horses, tough work without a team. They see me coming and they bolt. Sometimes I manage to rope one in, grab hold of the mane and ride it around until it throws me or, if my luck’s in and I’ve caught a good’un, I lead it home to the ranch and train it up to be useful.

Now if I had a team of professional cowboys (no pun intended, honest) how many more horses could I find, bring home, and train up? More to the point, how much more could I do with them, and what could they do for me?

What could they do for you?

What, oh ranchero, will your horses do for me?
